May 15th 2013

Liz Simins. We were trying to get to a venue within a gigantic cruise ship or cargo ship. She was there the whole time and we talked about things like video games and her thoughts on various unrelated subjects that I can't remember. Steph and Michael were there and argued about things as normal. There were other people with our group that I recognized but can't remember, and there were other people that were not part of our group that were going to the same place: to see the a band, possibly blind pilots? We kept going and going, at a brisk pace but never really running. I wish I remembered the rooms we went through... I think some of them had a video game-like puzzle element to them. At one point we had to jump to a different ship that was adjacent to the one we were on... since both ships were going in the opposite direction, and going fast, it was difficult to make the jump (and quite scary).

There was one room in particular that I remember, at the bottom of the first ship. It was some sort of shop and had all sorts of trinkets and miscellaney. I remember following Liz around and we looked at a small section that had only Legos. I didn't recognize any of the sets, but they looked manufactured (cohesive style and extremely well-made). Liz picked many of the sets up to look at them. The walls were dark but definitely a normal commercial material, like the walls at Pac Sun or Hot Topic. Lighting was interesting... there was plenty, but the source seemed to be behind some fences or wires or something, so that the light sources were split into rays and rarely came directly to my eyes.

We kept running through the ship and eventually we had to jump to yet another cruise ship, but I was behind and couldn't quite make it. I ran up a flight of clanky metal stairs as fast as I could, swinging around to my left as soon as I reached the top and leaped for the next ship... the ship had passed and no one was looking back for me. I fell into the water-- it was cold and dark and I didn't fight it at all. I just felt lost. Somehow, I was able to rewind the entire sequence and try it again, with slightly different but equally unsuccessful results. I rewound three times before I felt despair and woke up with a sad feeling.
