***From before this point, I either dreamed less or did not have as much time to write down my dreams. The format has changed a bit, but they are still dreams that I've had***
I found myself looking at some sort of living portrait of Hellen (from high school, with pink hair). She was looking at me looking at her.
I remember having to go to Elissa Cohen's house. It was a strnage three story mansion with boards and ladders leading to different platforms. After climbing to a certain platform, I played violin with Sewing Pattern (I could only clearly remember seeing Angie and her keyboard), but it wasn't
a Sewing Pattern song, and I can't rmember the song at all.
Then I suddenly found myself in some kind of acapella workshop, directed by Jenna Steinberg. I think I saw Caitlin Liston and Armin in the mix. I can't remember what kind of music we did because I was so bad at singing but no one seemed to care. At the very end, Jenna begged us to do a "Frosty the Snowman" arrangement, and I had to get my violin out. I remember jenna signaling me to pizzicato and smiling and laughing. Several other people also got instruments out, but I only remember hearing a really good blues guitar player playing along with me. Someone had the arrangement on their ipod and I listened to it (through a single black earbud) and was able to pick out a melody, I clearly remember the fingerings:
all notes of the same length
g0
g low 2
g1
g low 4
g3
d low 1
d
d low 4
d3
d1
d2
d
g low 4
g1
g low 2
this last part was taught to me be the guitar player
half-beat rest
pick-up low 1 to g0 and loop
We started the arrangement of "Frosty the Snowman", and for obvious reasons, what I was playing did not match the music at all. I was confused and eventually stopped trying to make it fit and just played the tonic or melodic notes. The arrangement was basically just the original melody with different layerings of the same melody and getting faster and faster. The last note I played (presumably the tonic) was an A on the E string, trilling to Bb.
